American Board Trackers / Hanebrink Technologies sweeps top spots at Delmar Moto Expo. American Board Trackers, Big Bear Lake Ca., entered their custom built motorcycle “Board Tracker 1 ", in the important Moto Expo Motorcycle show, held at the fairgrounds, in Del Mar, Ca., Sept. 27 & 28. They walked away with 1st place overall in the “Show Promoters Choice” class, which included a substantial cash award, and 2nd place overall, including all categories of bikes, in the "Judges Choice, Best in show” class. The competition featured Motorcycles from every segment of the sport, including early 1900s Vintage bikes, many valued at over $ 100,000, High performance & Racing Bikes, Custom Choppers from some of the biggest names in the industry, Touring Bikes, & Off Road Bikes. |

New Vintage Motorcycle from American Board Trackers / www.american-board-trackers.com 08 American Board Track Racer 1 / a new vintage designed motorcycle to ride in today’s world. By award winning designer Dan Hanebrink. Already a show winner (Del Mar 2008 1st place "Best Bike in Show", Show Organizers Pick) This is an artistic re-creation of the hot blooded board track racing machines of the early 1910s to the roaring 20s. This street legal bike is designed to be ridden. A forward engine location, tilted slightly, with elevated transmission, provides great weight distribution with awesome lean angle. Seat, handlebar and foot controls are located to provide a relaxed "normal" riding position. The emphasis is on enjoyable, accurate handling, with aggressive riding an option. Special features: 1. Eighty cu. in. Harley Davidson Evolution crate motor with 5 speed Trans, Crane ignition, and an S&S carburetor. 2. Hanebrink single loop steel frame incorporating aluminum "stress plates" and rotating eccentric axle adjusters. 3. Custom Indian replica Hanebrink Leaf Spring Fork with ride height adjustability, hydraulic damping, aerospace grade greaseless pivots, and separately adjustable spherical bearing linkages. 4. Full Floating Brembo Brakes. 5. Matching Brembo master cylinders, with fluid reservoir built into custom 3- piece handlebars. 6. Brembo to Harley hydraulic clutch with custom billet slave cylinder. 7. Hand formed aluminum fuel tank with 3 gal. Capacity 8. Custom Hanebrink open chain primary with B.D.L. dry clutch. 9. Lazer Star Billet L.E.D. lighting. 10. Custom Billet/ T.I.G. foot controls with Ducati foot pegs. 11. Twenty one inch wheels front and rear. All design, fabrication, machining, welding, tube bending, roll forming, etc. of frame, fork, gas tank, exhaust system, foot controls, handle bars, brake mount hardware, and primary drive, was performed by the father and son team of Dan and Jared Hanebrink exclusively. All roll forming was performed on a proprietary Elliptical Bending Machine Designed and built by Dan and Jared Hanebrink. About Dan Hanebrink; “In 1971, Cycle News Publisher Chuck Clayton asked Dan Hanebrink to sketch a futuristic machine of the eighties for a front page Christmas Issue of the paper. From this sketch Hanebrink developed his ideas and the result two years later was the Monotrack Experimental.
